Futsunomitamanotsurugi
Futsunomitamanotsurugi
Through repeated revisions, this wood carving has acquired a distinct, continuous curve along its right side. From this flow, a sharp form rises, gradually transforming into a consciously articulated structure, ultimately reaching a refined and sharpened overall presence. In response to this transformation, the work has been newly titled Futsunomitamanotsurugi. The name refers to a sword that cuts through things of ever-changing nature, symbolizing the will and latent power embedded within the process of formal transformation itself. The adjacent work has likewise undergone revision and, as a result, has been newly renamed Goshinken.
